Presentation of the Democratic People's Party

The Democratic People's Party (Demokratik Halk Partisi - DEHAP) was founded on 24 October 1997 as an alternative to the Kurdish party HADEP. There is a continuing closure court case about this party.

Flag of the Democratic People's Party

The flag of the DEHAP shows the emblem of the party on a background whose colours vary from yellow to dark orange. Light orange is used as a "median" colour on the image shown above.
